Does heaven have you on hold?

Hey Friends!

Sometimes when God is silent it means that He wants us to trust His presence and His guidance.

Do you trust me?
There’s a trust-building exercise where one person is blindfolded while the other who has “sight” is leading the way. The partners start off walking, then jogging, then sprinting.

This is what it can feel like when I’m walking by faith (and not by sight). Sometimes you’re standing still, sometimes you’re walking, and sometimes you’re in a sprint. But either way, your blind movement is based on your faith and trust in God.

Hebrews 11:1 (NIV) says
Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses .

I love how it says “faith comprehends as fact” what we can’t experience with our physical senses.

We can walk blindfolded with confidence based on God’s promises. Because we know God is always faithful, and that He never changes.

I’m waiting…
During wait times, you can always go back to the ultimate instruction guide and blueprint for life: the Bible.

God always speaks to us and guides us through His word.

When you’re waiting:

The Word is a lamp that illuminates our path and helps show the way.
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105

The Word reminds us of God’s character and His promises
I am the Lord you have the promise of My changeless omnipotence and faithfulness Exodus 6:8b

The Word reminds us that God hears us
I love the Lord, because He hears and continues to hear My voice and my supplications (my pleas, my cries, my specific needs). Psalm 116:1

While you’re on hold listening to waiting music, continue to praise and thank Him!

God Bless you!
